Alpha Nero, a Dubai-founded luxury retail and residential fitout and shopfitting specialist, has successfully completed a large-scale solar energy installation across its UAE facilities in partnership with Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions Limited, marking a major step in its sustainability and decarbonisation journey.

The solar project, with a capacity of around 450 kWp, is expected to generate over 740,000 kWh of clean electricity annually, significantly offsetting the company’s grid power consumption. The transition is projected to reduce approximately 320 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions each year, contributing to a substantial cut in Scope 2 emissions.

According to the company, the renewable energy shift will enhance operational resilience while also ensuring long-term energy cost stability in line with global sustainability goals.

The installation was completed within three months after being initiated in November 2025 and is designed to deliver high efficiency, achieving an estimated yield of 1,650 kWh per kWp, supported by optimal system design and UAE’s high solar irradiation conditions.

Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions Limited handled the end-to-end execution of the project, including engineering, regulatory compliance, and long-term system management. The company will also operate and maintain the system using AI-driven monitoring platforms to ensure continuous performance optimisation and reliability.

Speaking on the development, Alpha Nero CEO and Founder Simon Hacker said the partnership represents a “fundamental shift” in the company’s operating model, embedding sustainability as a core business priority and aligning with national climate goals.

He added that the move reflects increasing alignment between regulatory frameworks, investor expectations, and customer demand for measurable environmental performance, particularly within the luxury manufacturing sector.

The project aligns with the UAE’s broader sustainability agenda, including the UAE Net Zero 2050 Strategy, the UAE Energy Strategy 2050, and the Federal Decree-Law No. (11) of 2024 on climate change mitigation.

CleanMax Managing Director Kuldeep Jain noted that businesses are increasingly integrating renewable energy as a strategic lever for cost efficiency, reliability, and long-term resilience amid rising energy demand and market volatility.

Beyond environmental benefits, the shift is expected to protect Alpha Nero from energy price fluctuations while strengthening financial predictability. The company also continues to advance its sustainability agenda through its carbon accounting platform, Leaf, which enables organisations to track and reduce emissions across operations.
