Airengy has announced a major step in expanding its presence in Israel’s renewable energy sector by signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to acquire a 51% stake in Green-Go. The company is known as a leading developer and EPC contractor for complex photovoltaic projects, with strong expertise in agrivoltaics. This move is expected to strengthen Airengy’s position in the growing clean energy market in Israel.

With this acquisition, Airengy is adding a third key pillar to its business operations. Alongside its existing focus on Compressed Air Power Plants (CAPP) for multi-day energy storage and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Europe, the company will now include local project development and execution capabilities in Israel. This expansion reflects Airengy’s strategy to build a diversified and integrated energy portfolio.

By bringing Green-Go into its operations, Airengy aims to enhance its capabilities across the entire energy value chain. This includes project development, engineering, construction, and long-term operation. The integration is expected to improve execution efficiency and support the delivery of complex renewable projects.

The deal is also expected to create steady cash flow and open new opportunities for expansion in the renewable energy sector.
