NTPC Renewable Energy Limited has issued an invitation for bids for an ICT package associated with 900 MW of solar projects in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh. According to SolarQuarter, the tender will be conducted through domestic competitive bidding using a single-stage, two-envelope process.

The scope includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, testing and commissioning of two 500 MVA, 400/220/33 kV three-phase ICT auto transformers. The package also covers fire protection systems, monitoring equipment, maintenance tools and required testing.

Large solar parks depend heavily on grid equipment that can safely move power into the transmission network. The tender therefore represents an important supporting package for renewable deployment in Madhya Pradesh. Qualified bidders must meet technical experience and financial criteria, with bid submission scheduled for May 27, 2026.
