Different time horizons

A recent industry comparison places JinkoSolar’s cumulative shipments above 420 GW and annualized capacity at 100 GW. LONGi is listed at 396.35 GW of cumulative shipments and 120 GW of annualized capacity. Historical deliveries should not be treated as production in a single year.

Implications for procurement

The comparison also lists JA Solar and Trina Solar among the largest suppliers by cumulative deliveries. Shipment history can indicate delivery experience, while current capacity describes manufacturing scale. Neither figure alone establishes actual production, utilization or the availability of modules for a particular order.
