Arevon Energy has signed three 20-year indexed renewable energy credit agreements for the Panther project in Perry County, Illinois. The planned solar facility has a capacity of 200 MWac / 275 MWdc.

Contract framework

The counterparties are Ameren Illinois, ComEd and MidAmerican Energy. Panther was selected under the Illinois Power Agency summer 2026 procurement programme and is set to deliver 421,131 renewable energy credits in its first operating year.

Construction timeline

Construction is scheduled for 2027, with completion expected in 2028. The agreements provide a revenue framework for project development; the facility is not yet operating. Arevon has opened a local office in Pinckneyville for community engagement.
