GoodWe introduced its ESA 125 kW/261 kWh battery energy storage system at the Renewable Energy India Expo in Greater Noida.

Integrated cabinet design

The system brings together battery cells, a power conversion system, an energy management system and a battery management system. GoodWe targets factories, commercial buildings and other grid-connected or off-grid sites.

Expansion alongside solar equipment

According to GoodWe, up to 15 cabinets can operate in parallel in on-grid applications, providing up to 3.91 MWh. The company also displayed residential hybrid storage, utility-scale storage and its GT Series commercial solar string inverter. The launch extends its equipment range for users seeking to combine photovoltaic generation with battery management.
