INA Solar, through Insolation Green Energy, has entered a five-year partnership with Caelux to commercialise 3 GW of advanced solar modules.
The companies plan to combine INA Solar’s N-type TOPCon platform with Caelux’s Energy Producing Glass, which uses a perovskite-based generating layer. Their commercial production goal is module efficiency of up to 29% by 2028. This is a development target, not a reported result for products already in production.
The partnership covers technology validation, manufacturing preparation and applicable regulatory approvals, including ALMM requirements. The proposed hybrid-tandem approach is designed to increase energy density and improve project economics, while actual performance and commercial readiness will depend on validation and implementation.
