Tata Capital Cleantech Finance has committed INR 7.5 billion to a Fourth Partner Energy hybrid renewable project with battery storage in Maharashtra.

Solar, wind and storage

The development combines 300 MWp of solar, 50 MW of wind generation and 750 MWh of battery energy storage. Its expected annual generation exceeds 630 million kWh. Commercial and industrial customers are the main intended electricity users.

Financing and customer demand

An initial drawdown of approximately INR 3.75 billion has been reported. More than half of project capacity is already committed to corporate customers through commercial arrangements. Storage is intended to shift renewable electricity to the times customers need it; the generation estimate is a forecast rather than measured operating output.
